This report is jointly published by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics and UNICEF. The report provides a wealth of valuable information in the sectors related to primary education, nutrition, child health, drinking water, sanitation, and other social sector indicators. The uniqueness of this publication lies in the availability of time series information at district, divisional and national levels which I believe, will enable Programme planners and implementors of concerned government ministries and departments, NGOs, and the development partners in formulating plans for achieving the World Summit Goals for children.
