Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey (BDHS) 2014 is the seventh survey conducted in Bangladesh. This survey was implemented through a collaborative effort of the National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT), ICF International, USA, and Mitra & Associates. The financial support for the survey was provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Bangladesh. The main objectives of the 2014 BDHS are to provide information to meet the monitoring and evaluation needs of the health, population, and nutrition sector development program (HPNSDP); and to provide program managers and policymakers involved in the program with the information they need to plan and implement future interventions.
