The National Sanitation Marketing Policy has been developed to ensure safe sanitation practices in Bangladesh, which aligns with SDG target 6.2. The Sanitation Marketing Policy is a strategy that will guide Bangladesh towards ensuring basic sanitation and moving away from over-reliance on leaf resources to become a middle-income country. This Sanitation Marketing Strategy is a globally recognized approach that will contribute to implementing the recommendations outlined in the Bangladesh Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Development Plan (2011-2025).
