Dengue outbreaks are thought to occur during the rainy season when the breeding of Aedes mosquitoes increases. The national guidelines for preventing dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases was published for this cause. These guidelines will apply to all government institutions and stakeholders
As a part of developing this guideline, the existing O&M situation of water supply and sanitation technologies implemented by both the Government and other sector partners was studied to capture the existing challenges for O&M at the field level in different hydro-geographical settings
Among different kinds of natural hazards; floods, cyclones, coastal cyclone surges, river bank erosion, water logging, and draught hamper the water supply, sanitation, and hygiene facilities in the affected areas for a prolonged period. It will provide guidelines for WASH emergencies in Bangladesh
