Among different kinds of natural hazards, floods, cyclones, coastal cyclone surges, river bank erosion, water logging, and draught hamper the water supply, sanitation, and hygiene facilities in the affected areas for a prolonged period, ranging from weeks to months. In case of other calamities, shorter period disruption in the WASH facilities occurs. This document will provide guidelines for WASH emergencies in Bangladesh.
